Have you ever had a meal so good you couldn't help but tear up a little bit while eating it? That was my experience at Curry Indian. My friends and I decided we wanted to get off campus for dinner, and stumbled upon the restaurant online. It seemed good, so we headed on over, excited to eat something not prepared in the dining commons. Upon walking inside, we were immediately hit by the smell of something delicious, and warmly greeted by the owner. We chit chatted and laughed as we ordered, the atmosphere friendly and relaxed. I ordered the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, and rice, along with a mango lasi. I'm usually not someone who can eat everything on my plate when I go out, but I wanted to have every last bite. It was absolutely divine, and we can not wait to go back!

Ten out of Ten for this delicious honest-to-goodness Pakistan-Afghan down home style eatery where the food is great! Succulent expertly grilled chucks of chicken tikka on skewers is put in a rich Masala sauce for you, Beautifully scented Basmati rice melts on the tongue, fresh buttery garlic nan bread arrives all hot and crispy, and don't miss the chana masala (chick peas) in a rich hot delicious sauce. We loved the fresh chicken shish kebab, too, and the hot black tea with sugar. Proprietors Mohammed Waheed & Begum Saadia are engaging, well travelled, warm, welcoming, hospitable, and very charming. They're kind and laid back and on the night my husband and I visited to collect our food their phone didn't stop ringing with delivery orders. Meeting this beautiful couple and one of their 7 children, and chatting in their relaxed restaurant with them was a treat on this wet snowy February evening. They made time to chat with us and we left feeling like family. We love this family oriented place, it offers great authentic food at good prices, the spices and cooking style is Afghan and Pakistan with a large selection of side dishes. The Basmati rice was delicately scented with cloves. The fresh green chopped coriander on the garlic nans made them look and taste beautiful. This place is no-frills with good honest cooking and great tasty food served for quickness on paper plates with plastic spoons - just as it is in Lahore, Kabul, and London where I'm from. Don't visit and expect this restaurant to have fancy china plates or plasticcy anonymous looking staff in uniforms, or a neat and tidy franchise feel or appearance. Expect instead plain looking tables and chairs for diners to eat at, a chilled drinks cabinet, a tv showing news stations from all around the world, a couple of pot plants, and nothing else but a window cut into the wall through which you can watch this couple cooking the best food! Sir Mohammed Waheed and Begum Saadia thank you for keeping it real, we thank you for your 1st class hospitality and kindness to us and will be honored to return to you soon.

I recently dined at Curry Indian & Pakistani Restaurant in Keene, NH, and ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, naan, and a small side of rice. The food was phenomenal—flavorful, perfectly spiced, and satisfying. The naan was fresh and paired beautifully with the rich, tender chicken. However, the 6 charge for a small side of rice felt a bit overpriced, especially since many restaurants include rice with the entree. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic, and I’d highly recommend it for the incredible flavors.
